SJCG uses a Feedback Database to meet our obligations under the Excellent Care for All Act (ECFAA) to track and report on complaints.
The Database reduces the need for managers to maintain paper files or their own electronic files for managing complaints, while giving us a way to understand and analyze complaints to improve how we deliver care.
Managers are expected to participate in Feedback Database Training to learn more about the Feedback Database and how it can help support the complaints management process. Feedback Database Training is available via online or classroom options, as found above.
Note: Managers in Long-term Care use a specific process to document complaints and do not utilize the Feedback Database.
